GOD'S LITTLE ANGELS INVITES all children and adults to join them in seeing "Epic" (rated PG), at the Loews Theater in Woodridge, on May 25. The movie starts at 10:30 (and is in 3D). Following the movie, we'll go to Papa's Pizza at 83rd Street and Janes Avenue, for lunch. Please contact Kim Johnson if you are interested in attending, so she can make lunch reservations.
Here is a synopsis of "Epic": Magically transported to a secret universe, a teenage girl (Amanda Seyfried) joins an ongoing battle between the forces of good, who keep the natural world alive, and the forces of evil, who wish to destroy it.

SIGN UP for PADS Night on May 29. There are 4 hour shifts to cover, food to make or purchase, set up the “pads” for sleeping, serve dinner and clean up. Set up time is now 5:30pm, please make a note of the change.
GRADUATION SUNDAY is June 9. Please turn in information on your graduate to the church office. We need the school they are graduating from, what school they will be attending next or career path they will take.
UNDIE SUNDAY is June 16. We are again collecting NEW men's & women's underwear & socks to donate to PADS. Please watch for sales and help fill the red bucket in the narthex.
SIGN UP to help at Feed My Starving Children in Aurora on Tuesday, June 18th from 6-7:30 pm ~ arriving @ 5:45pm at 555 Exchange Court in Aurora.
LADIES OF ST. JOHN - if you are looking to sing sometime this summer, a women's ensemble is being put together, to sing on June 30th! Rehearsals will be after the service, in the sanctuary, on the following Sundays: May 26; June 9, 16, and 23. (No rehearsal on June 2nd, due to the German service.) We will rehearse before the service on the 30th, in the choir room, at 9:30. You don't need to be present at all of the rehearsals to sing with us. If you are interested, please see Kim Johnson.

Every first Sunday of the month we collect nonperishable food items for our local food pantry Loaves & Fishes.
Every second Sunday of the month we will take a collection for Our Churches Wider Missions. (OCWM)
