WHAT ARE WE ABOUT?

 

Fellowship and Devotions are part of our Sunday evening gatherings at 5:00pm on the 2^nd Sunday of each month.  Just like the first Christians, we gather as a group to eat, worship, plan for future activities, and have fun.

 

Service Projects are an important part of our activity.  We reach out to others through organized agencies such as P.A.D.S., national programs such as Souper Bowl Sunday and the CROP Walk, as well as organize ourselves to do local projects such as Christmas Shop for the Less Fortunate.

 

Fun Activities are also what we are about.  We visit haunted houses, do ski and water park trips, go ice skating and bowling, play Whirlyball, etc.

 

The Summer Work Trip is a week designed so that we can be in service to others while we build Christian community as we learn about other cultures and places.  In 2005 we worked with Faith in Action in Fayetteville, Arkansas; in 2006 we worked with the Appalachian Folklife Center in Pipestem, West Virginia; and in 2007 we did the Providence Experience in Rhode Island.

 

The Boundary Water Canoe Trip is a week of fun, faith, and growth in the great outdoors.
